Amazing Media designed these cards following the tenents that Score Entertainment had layed out for the planned Angel CCG. While we wanted the designs to be similar in concept to the Buffy CCG (icons and general layout), Angel as a show had a much more urban, gritty and dark overtone. So, where the cards for the Buffy CCG had "solid" lines to differentiate photos and text, we made those edges rough and gritty.

The Buffy CCG boasted two things that most CCGs can't: excellent game play and the spirit of the program that it was based on. Many "spin-off" Collectable Card Games fail in at least one of those areas. We decided to focus on the inherent humor of one of our favorite episodes from Angel's final season: "Smile Time," in which the main character was turned into a puppet and had to battle with other, demonic puppets.

Ms. McCallister's book is about her personal experiences of being bullied in the workplace, the aftermath and what the reader can learn from the abuse she suffered on the job. While her basic concept was plain with several specific elements she wanted incorporated into her work, it was impactful. We wanted her book cover to both jump out at potential readers and incorporate the "street sign" elements with a "busniness" feel.

We worked with photographer Rebekah Ross, who capatured images in the business district of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for the cover as well as images and head shots of the author. In addition, we utilized street sign style sans-serif fonts which not only fit with her orignial design concept but also stand out and are easy to read both on bookselves as well as with any additional advertising.

While there are many cleaning services that cash in on being more than just titillating, Ms. Haga wanted her cards to represent the fact that a professional cleaning would be done in your home and, incidentally, that it would be done by a woman who would dress in a french maid's costume. Thus, we thought of hotel maids who often wear uniforms that are akin to the saucy "french maid" outfits and the hotel door hangers that you leave out when you stay at a hotel (illustration provided by Jonathan Sodt).

For Mr. Iverson, by incorporating his illistrations in an eye-catching business card concept, we felt that it would enable his cards to really stand out. Ms. Ross, being a photographer with a unique perspective, wanted to incorporate some of her favorite photos into her business cards so she would be able to provide a "variety-pack" of business cards to display.

Bumper stickers seem to be out of vogue because most people don't want to affix an adhesive to a car that can never be removed. This left us with designing either a reusable transparent vinyl window decal or a car magnet. While window decals are very inexpensive, we liked the esthetic of car magents more.

Instead of focusing on the American Flag, a symbol used in many Republican oriented radio station promotional items, Robyn liked the idea of using a "Curve Right" road sign with the exortation to "Keep Right!" Include the fact that the magnet has both an odd shape with familiar images and it's catches the eye and is generally inoffensive.

While KGMI really liked the design, unanticipated bugetary constraints prevented them from licencing or buying our design outright, let alone allow them to have them manufactured for distribution.
